PUNK LIVES!
John Holmstrom has been invited to be a part of punk art exhibition in Los Angeles
as one of "artistic pioneers of the original 1977 punk scene"!
The show "PUNK LIVES!" is being held at the Subliminal Projects gallery
owned by the renowned street artist Shepard Fairey;
John san flew to LA to be at the opening party on July 13th, sent us report and photos.
"Hundreds of people lined up for hours to get into the gallery!!"
John san met his friends came to the event!
She is an old friend of him from 70s when he started PUNK Magazine.
And she is a model for PUNK/Overthrow/Everlast boxing collaboration, posing the drawing by John san.
"There were so many people dressed in cool punk clothing at the opening night,
it was really inspiring to me.
I rarely see people dressed like this in New York City"

I always want to do this kind of thing at my own events, but always end up busy with stuff.
