CBGB @ PONI-CAMP live
On July 21st, a live event "Camp-Fire!! vol.1", was held at the live venue SHELTER in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. Organized by rock band PONI-CAMP, who had played at legendary live venue CBGB&OMFUG, it was a tribute event for CBGB by 4 Japanese punk/hard-core bands, with promotion for various CBGB licensing merchandise, including newly released CBGB guiter/bass by musical instrument manufacturer Fernandes.
It was an "uplifting" event as in "OMFUG", with the space filled up with various audience from young to used-to-be-young-in-70's; CBGB fans were enjoying the stage performance resembling the CBGB's, while other audience learned what it was about asides from the famous logo that they've been seeing everywhere.
