Godlis slide presentation
As in the last entry, street photographer Godlis was a host of online screening of movies about
street photograph, and he did a little slide presentation before the program;
Godlis sent us this presentation part, which is, as we thought, very interesting:
Great way to learn how he became a street photographer,
with the influence from Garry Winogrand,
and movie Blow Up! and the tv drama Man with a Camera.
The slide show is in nice and easy chronological order,
from very early photos from Miami and Boston, and ones after he moved to New York
with the punk - CBGB era in between, and more recent movie related photos.
And we especially like the book promotion at the end!
