PUNK Magazine New Issue!
In the beginning of his newsletter early this month, John Holmstrom wrote with excitement;
"I just finished the job of a lifetime: The best thing I have ever done and the best thing I will ever do. Keep an eye out for it, it should be published in early February 2023. You won’t believe how good it is! (And that is all I can say…)"
Naturally we were intrigued by it, so we gave him a message right away. We got his reply with a great news, and a link to a particular website!
And then he sent us another newsletter telling the world about the news; the new issue of PUNK Magazine will be out next year!

This new issue (PUNK #22!!) would be available with the purchase of Iggy Pop's new album EVERY LOSER, and the whole issue is "devoted to Iggy Pop, his history and his new LP."
John was contacted by producer Andrew Watts with this idea; John then gathered all cartoonists, photographers and artists he could think of, the PUNK all-stars, including Roberta Bayley who contributing photos!
By the way, this is second time Iggy to be featured on the cover of PUNK, the first one was issue #4 in 1976...
which is 46 years ago!
It is amazing that Iggy Pop has been rocking without a shirt for that long, but even more surprising that new issue of PUNK come out like this! Great work indeed John san, respect!
